NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced today that award-winning duo Florida Georgia Line will perform at The Troubadour in Los Angeles at an exclusive invitation-only concert for SiriusXM listeners on Monday, November 25.

The private concert, in recognition of SiriusXM's early support of Florida Georgia Line's music, will be broadcast on Wednesday, November 27 at 8:00 pm ET via satellite on The Highway, channel 59, and through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com

The Highway first played Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise" in the beginning of May 2012, before the duo was signed to a label deal. From that launching pad, the multi-platinum smash "Cruise" went on to become the second best-selling country single, according to Soundscan. Florida Georgia Line regularly credits The Highway's support of the duo for playing a key role in its development. In December 2012, Florida Georgia Line performed as part of SiriusXM's "Superfan Concert" series, a series of intimate performances with a Highway artist for SiriusXM listeners.

"Hearing 'Cruise' on The Highway for the first time is a bucket list moment we will never forget," shares Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard.

Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley adds, "We are incredibly thankful to SiriusXM for all of the support they have given us and are excited to bring the good times to their listeners!"

"SiriusXM's commitment to developing and breaking new artists is demonstrated by the now award-winning, multi-format success of Florida Georgia Line," said Steve Blatter, Senior Vice President/GM of Music Programming, SiriusXM. "When SiriusXM's The Highway channel first played the band's 'Cruise' in May 2012, the reaction from SiriusXM subscribers was immediate and enthusiastic. The band was unsigned but we heard something great that would resonate with listeners.  We're thrilled to team up with the band on this exclusive performance and to celebrate in their success."

The private concert will feature the recently crowned CMA "Vocal Duo of the Year" performing their "Single of the Year" "Cruise" as well as their two other multi-week number one hits "Get Your Shine On" and "Round Here." Florida Georgia Line will also preview songs from their upcoming November 25 release Here's To The Good Times…This Is How We Roll, a deluxe edition of their Platinum-certified debut album.

The private concert will also feature a performance by "Highway Finds" artist Dallas Smith. "Highway Finds" is The Highway's ongoing initiative to introduce new country artists to SiriusXM listeners. In June 2013, SiriusXM presented the "Highway Finds" concert in Nashville for SiriusXM listeners, featuring performances by artists including Parmalee, Cole Swindell, Chase Rice, Sarah Darling, JT Hodges, Ray Scott and The Lost Trailers.

SiriusXM subscribers can enter for the chance to win a trip to Los Angeles, a pair of tickets to the show and a private meet and greet with Florida Georgia Line at www.siriusxm.com/thehighway beginning Thursday, November 14. See Official Rules for complete details at www.siriusxm.com.  SiriusXM subscribers will also have the opportunity to win tickets to the event through dedicated listener emails.

After the broadcast, the concert will be available on SiriusXM On Demand for listeners listening via the SiriusXM Internet Radio App for smartphones and other mobile devices or online at siriusxm.com.

The Highway plays new country music. Listeners will hear music from Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Jason Alden, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood.
