NEW YORK, July 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) will offer baseball fans comprehensive coverage of 2013 Major League Baseball All-Star Week from New York City July 12-16.

SiriusXM will carry the national broadcast of both the 84th All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 16 (8:00pm ET), and the Chevrolet Home Run Derby on Monday, July 15 (8:00pm ET), live on XM channel 89. SiriusXM subscribers can also hear these events live through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App for smartphones and other mobile devices and online at SiriusXM.com.
MLB Network Radio (XM channel 89 and Sirius Premier channel 209) will offer listeners extensive pre- and post-event coverage for both the All-Star Game and Chevrolet Home Run Derby, which will be hosted by Casey Stern and former GMs Jim Bowden and Jim Duquette, and feature one-on-one interviews with current and former All-Stars, managers, coaches and other personalities from around the game.
On Sunday, July 14, SiriusXM will offer the exclusive radio broadcast of the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, featuring the top minor league prospects from the U.S. and abroad. Coverage will begin at 1:30pm ET (XM channel 89 and Sirius Premier channel 209). Mike Ferrin will be the play-by-play voice for the broadcast and Jim Duquette will be the analyst. Jim Bowden will report from the scouts' seats where he will talk with MLB talent evaluators throughout the game, and Grant Paulsen will provide reports from the dugouts.
In the days leading up to the All-Star Game, SiriusXM will broadcast a host of shows from across its programming platform from an expansive set at T-Mobile All-Star FanFest at the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan. These include Ripken Baseball, hosted by Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. and Adam Schein, The Covino & Rich Show, hosted by Steve Covino and Rich Davis, and a Howard 101 All-Star Special hosted by Gary Dell'Abate and Jon Hein of The Howard Stern Show.
Fans can also watch and hear shows from the MLB Network Radio, Mad Dog Radio and SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio channels, with hosts Cliff Floyd, Robert Wuhl, Steve Phillips, Chris Russo, Adam Schein, Jim Bowden, Jim Duquette and others.
On Monday, July 15 (2:00pm ET), MLB Commissioner Bud Selig will sit down with SiriusXM's Chris "Mad Dog" Russo for a special SiriusXM Town Hall Q&A at T-Mobile All-Star FanFest. Commissioner Selig will answer questions from SiriusXM subscribers in the audience, discuss current league matters, and talk about his experiences from a career that has spanned six decades in baseball. The show will air live on MLB Network Radio, Mad Dog Radio (SiriusXM channel 86) and SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio (XM channel 87, Sirius Premier channel 210).
