NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced today that it will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with performances, interviews and specials with many of today's hottest Latin artists hosted by the "Queen of Latin Pop," Gloria Estefan, now through Saturday, October 15 on SiriusXM's Caliente, channel 150.

In addition to hosting the month of programming, Estefan's most recent Las Vegas concert will be broadcast in its entirety on Sunday, September 25, at 4:00 pm ET.
The special month of programming will include a weekend dedicated to the many musical contributions of the multi-talented Gloria Estefan, including an interview and album preview special with the seven-time Grammy® Award-winning artist. During the interview, Estefan will debut her new album, Miss Little Havana, discuss her all-time favorite collaborations and share her thoughts on today's biggest Latin artists. SiriusXM listeners will also hear Estefan comment about her Latin heritage and the artists who contribute to the thriving Latin arts community. The Gloria Estefan interview will air on Friday, September 23 at 4:00 pm ET.
Caliente listeners will also hear special, intimate concert performances by Latin Grammy winners and nominees such as Pitbull, Jon Secada, Tito Nieves, and Juanes every Thursday at 4:00 pm ET during Hispanic Heritage Month.
Caliente plays the best in salsa, pop, merengue, bachata and reggaeton music.
