The private concert, in recognition of SiriusXM's early support of Grouplove's music, will be broadcast live on Monday, July 23 at 8:00 pm ET on Alt Nation, channel 36.  Alt Nation first played Grouplove in April 2011. The SiriusXM channel's support of Grouplove played a key role in the development of the band. The band's song "Tongue Tied" is currently the number one alternative rock song in America.

"SiriusXM has been such an amazing supporter of not only our music from the very beginning, but also of good new music everywhere. We are honored to be a part of such a special event," said Grouplove's Ryan Rabin.

"As a leader in music discovery, we are always looking to introduce and showcase new music to our millions of listeners," said Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer, SiriusXM.  "We were excited to bring Grouplove to our listeners early on; and of course thrilled when the band offered to play a concert exclusively for them to show their appreciation."

In December 2011, Foster the People performed a similar private concert for SiriusXM as a thank you to Alt Nation for being the first radio outlet in the country to play their hit song "Pumped Up Kicks." The concert, held at New York City's Bowery Electric, was broadcast live on Alt Nation.

SiriusXM listeners will have the chance to attend the private concert. Listen to Alt Nation or visit www.siriusxm.com for Official Rules and details.

Alt Nation plays the latest alternative rock music. Listeners will hear The Black Keys, Foster the People, Muse, Grouplove, The Killers, Death Cab For Cutie and Silversun Pickups.
