SiriusXM Renews Landmark Comedy Podcast “Comedy Bang! Bang!” in New Multi-Year Deal
NEW YORK – June 1, 2026 – SiriusXM today announced the multi-year extension of one of the longest and most beloved comedy podcasts, “Comedy Bang! Bang!,” the improvisational interview show hosted by writer and comedian Scott Aukerman.
The three-year agreement continues the production, distribution, and exclusive ad-sales of “Comedy Bang! Bang!” by SiriusXM, where the show remains a cornerstone of SiriusXM’s comedy and podcast portfolio. With a diverse roster that spans comedy, true crime, wellness, business, and entertainment programming, the SiriusXM Podcast Network represents more of the top 20 podcasts than any other network according to Edison Research, reaching 1 in 2 podcast listeners in the US each month.
Since launching in 2009, “Comedy Bang! Bang!” has grown into one of podcasting’s most enduring comedy franchises, with this new deal extending the show through its landmark 20th season. Downloaded around 10 million times per year, “Comedy Bang! Bang!” has led to multiple spin-off podcasts, a New York Times best-selling book, and a beloved television series that ran for five seasons on IFC.
“Comedy Bang! Bang!” blends celebrity interviews, improvisation, recurring characters, and absurdist comedy into a format that has influenced an entire generation of comedy podcasters and performers. The show’s door is always open to an assortment of eccentric oddballs and characters who pop by at any moment to chat, compete in games, and engage in comic revelry, including frequent guests Paul F. Tompkins, Jason Mantzoukas, Lauren Lapkus, Adam Scott, Ego Nwodim, Nick Kroll, Bob Odenkirk, and many more.
