Expected early guests on the show include James Carville, Bob Costas, Mark Cuban, Fmr. Senator Joe Manchin, Gov. Wes Moore, Sen. Rand Paul and more

NEW YORK – January 13, 2026 – SiriusXM today announced the launch of “Cuomo Mornings,” a brand-new live weekday program hosted by veteran journalist and broadcaster Chris Cuomo. The show will air in the morning drive timeslot (7-9 am ET) of SiriusXM’s bipartisan P.O.T.U.S. channel 124, leading off the channel’s daily coverage.
Built around the idea that the country is more than red vs. blue, “Cuomo Mornings” will focus on breaking down party lines and elevating honest, solutions-oriented conversations about the political, cultural, and social issues shaping Americans’ lives. Broadcasting live each weekday, the program will feature Cuomo’s trademark straight talk, interviews with newsmakers from across the ideological spectrum, and conversations with listeners of all political viewpoints, creating a daily forum where disagreement doesn’t mean division.
Expected guests in the show’s first days include James Carville, Bob Costas, Mark Cuban, former Senator Joe Manchin, Gov. Wes Moore, Sen. Rand Paul and more.
“Too much of our politics is about teams instead of truth,” said Chris Cuomo. “‘Cuomo Mornings’ is going to be about breaking through those barriers, asking better questions, and bringing people into the conversation instead of talking past them. We need to prioritize common sense, accountability, and real dialogue, and SiriusXM’s P.O.T.U.S. channel is exactly where that belongs. I’m very excited to be back on the platform and to engage with callers every day. Let’s get after it.”
Chris Cuomo is a veteran journalist with more than two decades of experience covering politics, global affairs, and major breaking news. He currently anchors CUOMO on NewsNation (weeknights at 8 pm ET), which he joined in 2022.
Over the course of his career, Cuomo has interviewed presidents and world leaders, reported from war zones, and covered defining moments including the September 11 attacks. At NewsNation, he has spoken with political leaders across the spectrum – including Gov. Gavin Newsom, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Sec. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Gov. Wes Moore – as well as cultural figures such as Bill Maher, Kanye West, Sean Penn, and Whoopi Goldberg, among many others. He has also reported from the frontlines of the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.
Previously, Cuomo hosted CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time, one of cable news’ highest-rated programs, and co-anchored New Day. He also hosted “Let’s Get After It with Chris Cuomo” for SiriusXM. Earlier in his career, he served as chief law and justice correspondent and anchor for ABC News, appearing on 20/20 and Good Morning America, and worked as a correspondent and political analyst for Fox News Channel. He began his career as an attorney after graduating from Fordham School of Law.
Cuomo has received multiple Emmy nominations and has earned a News Emmy, as well as Polk, Peabody, Edward R. Murrow, Gerald Loeb, and ABA Silver Gavel awards for his reporting.
