SiriusXM and RealClearPolitics Team Up for New Weeknight Program on SiriusXM’s P.O.T.U.S. Channel

RCP’s Andrew Walworth will host the program, with Carl Cannon and Tom Bevan joining as co-hosts

“RealClearPolitics” will premiere on Monday, February 26 

NEW YORK – February 20, 2024 – SiriusXM today announced a new weeknight political program in collaboration with the independent, non-partisan media company, RealClearPolitics (RCP). The eponymous program premieres on February 26, and will air Monday through Friday from 6-7 p.m. EST on SiriusXM P.O.T.U.S. channel 124.  

Andrew Walworth, ​​chief content officer for RealClear Media Group, will host the new show and will regularly be joined by co-hosts Carl Cannon and Tom Bevan. Cannon currently serves as Washington bureau chief for the RealClearPolitics website and executive editor of RealClear Media Group, while Bevan is co-founder and president of RealClearPolitics. 

In addition to covering the key political headlines of the day, RealClearPolitics will leverage RCP’s independent polling data to analyze what matters most to the electorate as we head into the November elections. The hosts will also be joined by RCP correspondents to discuss news from the beltway and beyond, and will feature in-depth interviews with top political newsmakers. After premiering on P.O.T.U.S. the show will become available as a podcast on most major podcast platforms.

RealClearPolitics joins a powerful line-up on the P.O.T.U.S. channel, which will now consist of The Laura Coates Show (7-9 a.m. EST), The Michael Smerconish Program (9 a.m.-12 p.m. EST), The Briefing with Steve Scully (12-2 p.m. EST), The Dan Abrams Show (2-3 p.m. EST), The Julie Mason Show (3-6 p.m. EST), RealClearPolitics (6-7 p.m. EST), and The Hill on NewsNation (7-8 p.m. EST). The P.O.T.U.S. channel regularly features interviews with representatives from both sides of the aisle, as well as legal analysis, breaking news coverage, panel discussions, and more.
