FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ Matches to Air Live on FOX Sports on SiriusXM and SiriusXM FC

SiriusXM subscribers get live broadcasts of every match, provided by FOX Sports, as the United States goes for record third consecutive World Cup title

Kaylyn Kyle and Marisa Pilla join SiriusXM roster to provide analysis throughout tournament

NEW YORK – July 19, 2023 – SiriusXM will offer extensive coverage of FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™, when the best players in the world compete in Australia and New Zealand for soccer’s most coveted title. Subscribers will get access to live broadcasts of all 64 matches powered by FOX Sports’ match commentary, beginning with the opening match on Thursday, July 20 through the World Cup Final on Sunday, August 20. 

English-language broadcasts of all matches from the tournament will be provided by FOX Sports with broadcasts airing primarily on FOX Sports on SiriusXM (channel 83). When two matches are occurring simultaneously, one match will air on SiriusXM FC (channel 157). The FOX Sports on SiriusXM and SiriusXM FC channels are available to subscribers nationwide in their cars and on the SXM App.

After winning it all in 2015 and 2019, the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) is attempting to make history with an unprecedented third consecutive World Cup title. The USWNT’s Group Stage matches will air on FOX Sports on SiriusXM as they take on Vietnam (July 21 at 9 pm ET), Netherlands (July 26 at 9 pm ET) and Portugal (August 1 at 3 am ET). In addition to carrying live match broadcasts, SiriusXM will offer listeners daily commentary throughout the tournament on its dedicated soccer channel, SiriusXM FC, with new voices joining the channel to provide analysis. 

Kaylyn Kyle, who earned more than 100 caps as a member of the Canadian national team and played in the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™, will be joining the SiriusXM team, as will veteran soccer broadcaster Marisa Pilla. Kyle, Pilla and SiriusXM’s Julie Stewart-Binks will host The Football Show, which airs daily at 7:00 am ET.

Former USWNT members Heather O'Reilly and Lori Lindsey, hosts of the weekly SiriusXM show, Played In, will provide reports from Australia and New Zealand during SiriusXM’s coverage of the tournament. O’Reilly and Lindsey will be in the host countries commentating for FOX Sports television coverage.

In addition to The Football Show, the SiriusXM FC weekday lineup includes United States of Soccer, hosted by Jason Davis, Grumpy Pundits, hosted by Former Man City and Tampa Bay Rowdies striker Rodney Marsh, former USMNT star Brian Dunseth, Tommy Smyth and Tom Rennie, and Counter Attack, hosted by former USMNT stars Tony Meola and Eric Wynalda. Former Rutgers Women’s Soccer coach Glenn Crooks, host of The Coaching Academy on SiriusXM, will also provide commentary during the tournament.

FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ will feature 32 teams competing across the host countries. The United States will be competing in Group E against the Netherlands, Portugal and Vietnam. Nations competing in this year’s tournament also include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Haiti, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Korea Republic, Morocco, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Panama, Philippines, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Zambia.
