NEW YORK, March 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SiriusXM announced today that it will air a special broadcast of "El Show de Piolin" on Saturday, March 8 during the upcoming blockbuster Pay-Per-View boxing event, "TOE TO TOE: Canelo vs. Angulo," featuring Mexican boxing superstar "Canelo" Alvarez facing veteran fellow countryman Alfredo "El Perro" Angulo.
The special broadcast, featuring SiriusXM's Eddie "Piolin" Sotelo and special guest host, former three-division world champion Abner Mares, will air live starting at 11:00 pm EST / 8:00 pm PST on SiriusXM Piolín Radio channel 147.
The four-fight event, televised live by SHOWTIME PPV®, begins at 9:00 pm EST / 6:00 pm PST.
Former super welterweight world champion Canelo (42-1-1, 30 KOs) returns to the ring following his first career loss against 10-Time Five-Division World Champion Floyd "Money" Mayweather to face the hard-hitting Angulo (22-3, 18 KOs) at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. "Piolin," Spanish-language radio's top host and a longtime boxing aficionado, and Mares will be sharing with SiriusXM Latino listeners across the country all the live action as they see it unfolding in the ring.
In addition, "Piolin" will give fight fans a preview of Saturday's bout on the Friday broadcast of "El Show de Piolin," which will air live from Radio Row at MGM Grand beginning at 9:00 am EST / 6:00 am PST on Piolin Radio.
