NEW YORK, June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SiriusXM today announced the launch of a new weekly show featuring golf talk, analysis and instruction from several pros based out of the renowned Sea Island Golf Club on St. Simons Island in Georgia.
Sea Island Golf Radio airs every Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 pm ET on SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio (XM channel 93, Sirius channel 208). The next show debuts tonight, June 18.
The program will be hosted each week by former PGA TOUR pro Brian Bateman, winner of the 2007 Buick Open, who will be joined by a rotating group of co-hosts who call Sea Island home.
Featured hosts will include Davis Love III, the 20-time PGA TOUR winner who won the 1997 PGA Championship, THE PLAYERS Championship in 1992 and 2003, and captained the U.S. Ryder Cup team in 2012. In addition to Love, listeners will hear regularly from 2009 U.S. Open Champion and three-time PGA TOUR winner Lucas Glover and Sea Island Director of Instruction Todd Anderson, who was named the 2010 National PGA Teacher of the Year.
Each week the hosts will discuss the latest news from the world of golf and interview fellow players and instructors from around the game. SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio listeners will also have the opportunity to call in to the show to seek instructional tips.
