SiriusXM and Pro Football Hall of Fame Team Up for New Show

Show hosts will be joined every Saturday by a Gold Jacket who will co-host the show; Anthony Munoz to be featured on this week's show

NEW YORK, Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- SiriusXM and the Pro Football Hall of Fame announced today that they have teamed up to create a new exclusive weekly show that will air nationwide on the SiriusXM NFL Radio channel.

Pro Football Hall of Fame Radio on SiriusXM debuted on Saturday, September 12, and will air live every Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm ET. SiriusXM NFL Radio is available on channel 88 on satellite radios and those subscribers to the SiriusXM All Access package - which includes satellite radio and internet listening – can also tune in to the channel via the SiriusXM app and at SiriusXM.com. 

Pro Football Hall of Fame Executive Vice President Joe Horrigan, a foremost historian on the NFL, and SiriusXM's Howard Balzer will host each week and will be joined every Saturday by a Hall of Famer who will co-host the show. Anthony Munoz (Class of 1998) will be the featured co-host on this Saturday's show. Other Gold Jackets who are expected to serve as future co-hosts of Pro Football Hall of Fame Radio on SiriusXM include James Lofton, Bill Polian and others.  Balzer has served as a member of the Hall of Fame's Selection Committee since 2006.

Pro Football Hall of Fame Radio on SiriusXM will celebrate the game's rich history and the all-time greats who are enshrined in the Hall as well as focus on the values that can be learned from the game. Horrigan and Balzer will talk at length with their Hall of Fame co-host about his career and the road that led him to the Hall of Fame, and relate his experiences with those who are playing today. Listeners will be invited to call in each week to share stories and memories and learn more about the Hall and its efforts to preserve pro football's history and promote its values and excellence.
